Grocery Store, Piano, & some visitors!!!

This is the look I get any time I stop to look at something in the store :) You might not see it, but I can read those eyes of his. He is clearly saying, "uuuuhhhh, Lindsey (drawn out) come on"
It is a rare thing to catch this behavior on camera. The male species really interests me. They have such interesting habits and weird behaviors. I hope by following this one closely and studying his every move I will be able to learn more. Tune in later for more on these fascinating creatures we call men.........
Seth and Zoey practicing the piano. It has become a daily thing for the two of them. What beautiful music comes from this room when they play together. Zoey is teaching Seth a thing or two about rhythm............lol.
Here she is again doing her new little neck grab thing. Who ever is holding her will see what I mean. She gets comfy and then sucks her thumb followed by grabbing your neck, jaw, cheek, whatever she can sink her little nails into. I think it is a comfort thing. Its so cute!

Shane and Gabe stopped by to visit. They were at a basketball camp at BYU that weekend. Zoey loved all the attention.

Here we are at the baby contest. As you can see, Zoey is very fixed on the red number taped to the floor in front of her.....
The judges walk around the circle and talk to the babies and judge them on there reaction.
I sat her on top of the number because when the first judge came around she was very mad that we were trying to get her attention off the number on the floor. She basically growled and screamed at the first judge...................lol
That didn't work either. When they came by again she started to lean down and reach under her butt to pull the paper off the floor and was not very happy when I tried to pry her little fingers off it................lol. So I just let her do what she wanted and the judges got a good look at the top of her head :) while she growled at the floor.
She would do fine until the judges would come by and then she would want the paper again.....lol. Sorry you have to see this picture. Its the only one of the judges in front of us.

Apparently, she didn't feel the breeze........

This is what Zoey does. She sucks her thumb and grabs onto the neck of whoever is holding her. Its cute:)

After the contest Zoey attempted to eat her first cracker.......
She wasn't sure what to do with it. I'm sure it didn't help that it tasted like nothing at all.
She slobbered on it a bit and then broke it into many pieces.

Zoey 7 Months Old!!!

Late is better than never. Here are her pictures from when she turned 7 months old! Time has gone by so fast. I can't believe I will be taking her 8 month pictures in a little over one week :)
She sits up completely on her own now. She started trying in her 6th month but really grasped it right before she turned 7 months. We still get a couple tip overs though :)
